This Biscoff baked oats recipe is thick, creamy and delicious. It's topped with melted Biscoff spread and Biscoff cookies. Who wants some?

Ingredients

Oatmeal mixture:

  • 1 flax egg 1 Tablespoon ground flaxseeds mixed with 3 Tablespoons water
  • 1 ripe banana mashed
  • 1 Tablespoon Biscoff spread
  • 1 Tablespoon maple syrup
  • 0.25 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 90 g oat flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 100 ml soy milk

Toppings:

  • 1 Tablespoon Biscoff spread melted
  • Biscoff biscuit crumbs to taste (finely crushed)

Instructions

Make the baked oats:

  • In a small bowl, mix together the flax egg, mashed banana, Biscoff spread, maple syrup and vanilla extract.
  • Next, add in the oat flour, baking powder and soy milk. Whisk to combine with a fork.
  • Pour the baked oats mixture into a bowl or a large ramekin and microwave for 2 minutes 30 seconds.
  • Top with melted Biscoff spread and Biscoff biscuit crumbs.

Notes

  • Whether you bake the oats inside a large bowl, a skillet or baking dish, make sure that it is completely non-stick. The last thing that you want is them to become stuck so you can even brush the bottom and sides with vegan butter if you wish.
  • This is a single serve recipe but you can double or triple the ingredients if you'd like to make 2-3 servings.
